Condor Liberation: one month to go!
The first sailing of the state-of-the-art Condor Liberation is just one month away
Condor Liberation – the first ferry of its kind in Northern Europe – marks a new era in sea travel, and with hundreds of passengers already booked to travel on her inaugural sailing from Poole to the Channel Islands on Friday 27 March, it’s going to be quite an event.
Spaces on the first sailing, which departs at 09:30, are selling fast, and anyone wishing to travel and enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity should book now.
Condor Ferries has already seen a 14% increase in bookings for travel in Spring to Guernsey and Jersey, with passengers keen to be amongst the first to sail on this fabulous new ship. There is also strong demand for summer travel as holidaymaker’s make their plans for a summer escape.
With a trimaran (three-hull) design, Condor Liberation offers greater stability and better sea-keeping ability, providing a smoother, more comfortable and reliable crossing for passengers. The new ship has also undergone a comprehensive customisation programme and sports the new company brand identity, featuring three new colours - dark blue, pink and gold.
Inside, the fast ferry offers an impressive new Duty Free shop, Adore, children’s play area, plus a range of eating and drinking outlets. Passengers can also choose from three new seating lounges, including two upgrade areas: Ocean Plus seats in the Horizon lounge, where the floor to ceiling windows offer panoramic views; and the Ocean Club lounge with its all-leather reclining seats and first-class at-seat steward service.
Alicia Andrews, Executive Director – Commercial at Condor Ferries, commented: “Our inaugural sailing for Condor Liberation is just a month away now, but there is still time to book and travel on what will be a very special sailing from Poole to the Channel Islands.
“We’re very excited about our superb new ship – everyone at Condor is looking forward her entering service so our passengers can enjoy a more luxurious and comfortable passage from Poole to the beautiful Channel Islands.”
Condor’s new ferry, Condor Liberation, will sail daily from Poole to the Channel Island’s throughout the summer, offering more opportunities to travel, improved reliability and a much greater level of comfort with smoother journeys.
Although demand is already high for the first sailing from Poole, spaces are still available for booking.
