Condor Ferries brings state of the art high speed ferry to Channel Islands
Spring 2015 will mark the start of a new era of sea travel, as the latest addition to the Condor Fleet – the Condor 102 - will come into service.
Condor Ferries completed the purchase of the new state of the art 102m high speed ferry this summer, which will serve both Guernsey and Jersey from Poole. Condor will be at the World Travel Market to showcase and share details of the Condor 102 and what it means for the future of ferry travel.
The 102m ship - designed and built by Austal and the first of its kind in Northern Europe - will come into service in spring 2015, securing the future of high speed ferry services for the Islands. Featuring a trimaran (three hull) design, the new ship will replace the Condor Vitesse and Condor Express on a single sailing from the UK to the Channel Islands.
The improved design will offer a smoother journey with capacity for 245 cars and 850 passengers and will feature a variety of leisure facilities onboard, including Bars, Restaurants, a Duty Free Shop, Children’s Area and Bureau de Change.

It represents £50m of investment in our Islands and it will enable us to improve reliability, increase capacity, and give our passengers a much greater level of choice and comfort.
