The crew of Condor 102 get the festive feeling with Christmas Jumper Day
Condor’s newest addition to its fleet departed from Austal’s shipyard in Balamban, Cebu in the Philippines on 4th December, starting her long journey to Southampton, where final preparations will be made before she comes into service at the end of March.
The Condor 102 crew will be donning their Christmas jumpers for the rest of today (12 December), along with other Condor staff and crew in the UK and the Channel Islands. The festive Christmas Jumper Day has become an annual tradition for Condor to raise money for the Save the Children initiative.
“It’s great to see the Condor 102 crew taking part in our annual Christmas Jumper Day” said Capt Fran Collins, Executive Director – Operations, at Condor Ferries. “It has become an annual tradition for us here at Condor Ferries, so it is brilliant to see them getting into the festive spirit as well. The Condor 102 is making good progress - we look forward to welcoming her and the crew into Southampton soon.”
