Caravans go free to France with Condor Ferries
Anyone booking before 31 March to travel on Sunday services direct from Portsmouth to Cherbourg between May and September will be able to take their caravan on board free of charge, opening up a host of possibilities to explore the continent this summer.
In fact, the offer is proving so popular that caravan bookings for 2014 have already risen by almost 10% compared to last year. This year Condor Ferries has also removed the supplements for taking a motorhome to France, which means you can travel at the cost of a standard car.
Arriving into Cherbourg means that you are right on the doorstep of the beautiful Normandy countryside, and offers easy access to hundreds of sites in the vicinity. The town also has excellent road links, making it the ideal starting point for a touring holiday of the French countryside.
Justin Amey, Marketing Manager at Condor Ferries, commented: “We’re delighted at the continuing success of our Caravans Go Free offer. Taking your caravan abroad can sometimes prove expensive, so it’s great to be able to give our guests that little bit extra to help them take a break this summer.
“The crossings have proved very popular, but we still have sailings available, so any caravan owners yet to book should make sure they do so by 31 March to take advantage of this offer.”
